Introducing UBC Okanagan 2018-19 MDS cohort

The UBC Okanagan MDS program welcomes 28 students from all around the world to the Okanagan campus.

Here are some facts about the incoming cohort:

• 28 students
• 12 domestic, 16 international
• 14 women and 14 men
• a variety of academic backgrounds, including psychology, engineering (civil, petroleum), statistics, computer science and technology
• previous degrees from UBC, other Canadian universities, the U.S., China, Uganda, Nigeria, and Iran
• 10 students have another advanced degree prior to MDS

We were extremely impressed with the students chosen from a pool of 150 applications and look forward to a fantastic year.
